Which model is ideal for your face?
It’s not hard to find the perfect pair of prescription glasses or sunglasses for you, but we have some tips that can help you with your purchase. What are polarized lenses?
The purpose of these lenses is to reduce the impact of light and reflection on your eyes. Do you know that sunny day when you're walking down the street and see a car reflecting the sun in your eyes and it seems like the reflected light is going to blind you? Or when you're in the pool cooling off but can barely open your eyes near the water? Well, the purpose of polarized lenses is to protect you from UV rays.
What are multifocal lenses?
Multifocal lenses have three fields of vision that correct near, intermediate and distance vision in a single lens. And you don't even see these divisions.
What are photochromic lenses?
Photochromic lenses are excellent because they reduce the discomfort caused by the sun's rays. When exposed to UV light, i.e. sunlight, the lenses darken. This provides more protection for you and your eyes.
What is the expiration date of my prescription?
The prescription is valid for up to 1 year from the date of your consultation with your ophthalmologist.
How do I submit my prescription?
After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to measure your DNP. After taking a photo of yourself with your measurements, you will need to submit your prescription + measurements as instructed in the email.

What is the warranty period for my lenses and frames?
Our frames have a 6-month warranty and lenses have a 3-month warranty, counting from the date of issue of the invoice.
What does the warranty cover?
If within the next 6 months, this product presents manufacturing defects or faults, contact our customer service channels. If the manufacturing defect or fault is detected by our technical support, we will replace the frame or defective part of the product free of charge.
What does the warranty not cover?
- Damage caused by chemical products (creams, dyes, alcohol, solvents, glue, etc.);
- Damage caused by animals;
- Accidental scratches on the paintwork of frames;
- Accidental scratches on sunglasses and prescription lenses;
- Breakage or damage due to improper use;
- Problems resulting from accidents (bumps, falls, etc.);
- Repairs or manipulations carried out by persons not authorized by Óticas RX;
- Replacement due to total or partial loss of the product;
- Lenses with deep scratches are considered consequences of incorrect use of the product(s), and their repair/replacement is not covered by the warranty. Therefore, it is important that the customer checks the product(s) upon receipt.
